Agreed. If you want a range gun and a CCW gun you need a Glock 21. But the OP removed Glock from the discussion. That left only the CCW gun. The best CCW gun is the one you carry with you all the time. LCP is small enough and light enough you'll always have it with you, no excuses for why you can't carry it.

M11-A1 or Mk.25, both are a joy to shoot and will be 100% reliable unlike CZs or 1911s. Or if op doesn't mind the size then a 92fs.

CZ's are extremely reliable. I've been shooting a CZ75 shadow in 3 gun for the past few years with over 18k rounds and a CZ75 Shadow SP01 in USPSA with absolutely zero issues.

I own a MK25 and unless you practice with it a lot, trigger control will be difficult

CZ P-01 would be a great choice for a CCW or Range Gun

DA/SA? Safety/no safety? Personally, I would want to keep my CCW handgun to the same platform as my HD weapon - that way there is no fiddling around if it ever came to it.

CZ PCR.... Personally, I don't need a rail on my range or CCW gun (that's the major difference between the P-01 and PCR model).
Because of that, the PCR is a bit slimmer and weights a bit less. Both have a forged aluminum frame for weight reduction.

A CCW pistol and range pistol are 2 different things IMO.

I wouldn't necessarily spend a thousand bucks on a pistol that I may lose if I had to use it for it's intended purpose, when something less costly would work just as well. Not talking going cheap, lot's of fair priced options out there for concealed carry.
