I picked up a Range Officer Compact a few months ago and absolutely love it. Next is the EMP although that will run somewhere around $1,100.

Let's see. Range officer compact, sig CCO, or p2000sk with lem. There's a Springfield 1911 compact in the marketplace that i have been wanting also. Oh would like a sig 938 and a 232 also. To many choices😝

                Any of those.

Or a USP9 Expert, if you can conceal one!
I got a p2000sk light lem in a trade recently and have been very impressed with it. Definitely converted me from an hk hater to a pseudo fan boy lol. Can't say Its "better" than say, a glock. But it is nicer for sure. Plus I liked near g26 size but with a rail for nightstand mode, and still smaller than a g19.
The actual value of above $.02 is less than $.01 after taxes.

The first 2 guns that came to mind after reading the OP's question.

Surprised nobody has specifically mentioned the CZ RAMI, this looks to be a really nice choice that I wish I could have bought. I have lots of other CZs and they are really nice guns. Well made, accurate and reliable.

                              Yup.

226 with 49 state mags for more smaller holes or 220 for fewer larger holes.

Wait... 227 best of both worlds! Lots of large holes

HK45C - kinda big but yea, if you want to carry 45acp and your dressed in winter cloths it should be doable.

Maybe a Boberg but I don't think I would trust it enough to carry it, looking into it, it was a bit fussy with ammo. I love the unique design though.
