I hate Glocks.

With that, I know that a Glock should make a few trips to hell & back and ask for more. Overall they are very reliable. Just not for me.

OP, likely the ammunition you are using is the problem. Limp wristing could cause poor cycling as well.

Just curious, what does your GLOCK owners manual say as to the type of ammunition you should use? I have an 11y/o G21 and the manual says to use only factory loads. Just wondered if they're still making that recommendation?

Brass Stacker makes a nice machined steel recoil spring guide and single stage spring. It's $22 - you can try that and see if your problems shooting reloads go away.

Sorry, that sucks. But I do find it amusing in the same way as when Apple products and Toyotas crap out.

As for blaming the ammo, why? I thought Glocks were supposed to "eat anything," no?

A bunch of little things about Glock annoy me. Like the fact that their slogan is "perfection" and that they refuse to print or say the "Sig" in ".357 Sig."

A good cleaning never hurt anything. Get that factory sludge out of there and put in some nice thin oil!

I've never run reloads in a gun during the initial break in, regardless of the brand of pistol. I always run factory ammo.

For 9mm, I run 124 grain, for 45 ACP, I run 230 grain, and for 40 S&W, I run 180 grain, all standard pressure. When the recoil spring is new, I find that it tends to help until it's gone through several dozen compressions during live fire.

If the pistol actually makes it past 200 rounds and I like it, then I'll use whatever is cheapest in it. (Sometimes reload, sometimes factory new bulk, depending on whatever is available at the time.)

Have had 3 glocks and not one malfunction ever. Then again my wrists are strong and I was shooting factory ammo. Just kidding. But seriously..
