A bunch of little things about Glock annoy me. Like the fact that their slogan is "perfection" and that they refuse to print or say the "Sig" in ".357 Sig."

Because it is unreasonable to expect a mass produced pistol to function reliably with what are universally considered to be good quality reloads?

Thanks for your snarky, useless contribution to the thread. Perhaps premium factory ammo only is a good rule for people who shoot 100 rounds a year, but people who shoot a lot tend to use reloads.

Try some factory ammo. You really don't know what your getting when you buy reloads. I have periodic problems using reloads from dimensional issues to underpowered loads but you come to expect a little grief and accept it because of the cheap price. The 17L is a good running gun and does have more cycling mass in the larger slide and longer barrel than a G17. If you don't have enough umphh in the loads it may not be enough to cycle it. Reloads tend to be on the light side as reloaders try to save on the gunpowder cost. You bought a target gun in the 17L...don't feed it crap ammo.

I like the wqay it looks and have been told it shoots real well.

Were you limp-wristing? Did you have someone else shoot it?

I shot it and my girlfreind (who is a NOOB) shot it. She made the targets way better than me but only one round at a time after me clearing it!

try changing the recoil spring. Other 17L owners have overcome the problem with the change.

It is just stupid that I now have to spend MORE money on this POS!
