OP is lucky that Jamie and Sandra are understanding and patient. After the voicemails, I would've boxed up his gun and shipped it back for him to deal w/ another FFL. As someone fairly new to guns, I'm glad my friends took me to 2A Zone and I will continue to support them.

I would of sent to unit back to the vendor, called the cops to make sure he is sane to own this specific tool, and have his picture posted in the back of FFL so employees know who isn't welcome, but thats just my business motto.

I understand both sides of the story since I am sure many people not frequent Calguns don't know about the handgun roster, SSE and the the ending of SSE. Arranging with the FFL about shipping and availability of SSE kit, plus working with the seller to make sure they understand SSE and is willing to ship to CA are no easy tasks for new gun owner.

I blame the legislation and if this is not an infringement to the Second Amendment then I don't know what is. 2A Zone sounds like a very reasonable and stand up FFL. They bend over backward to make sure CA does not lose another gun owner.

I used to want a Wilson Spec Ops 9 and a Baer Monolith. But not enough to drop 2k on each.

I just wanted them because of the novelty, the polymer frame with a double stack 9mm mag, and the monolith just cuz of the heavy frame would be interesting to shoot and see how it effects recoil

I must parrot what The Gleam said, the FFLs are DOING US A FAVOR by doing SSE. Sure they charge us for it, but at least they are doing it.

Blame the CA DOJ for the roster and its headaches, not the guys trying to work with us to LEGALLY get the guns we want.
