      2A Zone, congratulations. I'm buying a firearm from you come Hell or high water in 2015. Your integrity and commitment to customer service deserves my business.

          13 calls in 30 minutes? Is this a high school girl who just got dumped by her boyfriend? OP is a whiny, self-centered little b***** and society would be better served in the long run if the FFL told him to go cry in a corner and deal with it.

          That said, nice to see that even for dainty little princesses who only care about themselves, Baboosh is an FFL that aims to please. If you're a whiny nancy, you couldn't do any better than him. Just imagine how he must treat full grown men with some sense for the fact there are other people in the world.

              OP, we get your frustration, but don't shoot the messenger. Aim your angst at the legislating bodies in CA. There is merely a law of physics at work, and the SSE capability is limited no different than any other inventory.

              Over the next couple of months, expect to see other late to the table frustrated with the change and the likelihood of feeling as if they are being excommunicated and exiled, merely because there will not be enough barrels and/or SSE kits to go around and synch up with the numbers of those already on a waiting list, no matter the dealer doing them.

              Those that were not making themselves persistently available to help fight such legislation as is necessary in California on an on-going and every-day basis, nor keeping aware of legislation over the past year, will be suddenly staring at a sour bowl of milk and trying to make the best of it - but will be out of luck.

              Even some of the AR and AK pistols requiring sleds are coming up in short supply. Now there is an easy fix to that, but some stores are sticking to the sled, and only have enough to go around ( I watched this happen right in front of me last weekend as one guy bought a particularly unique AR pistol, and as another guy wanted to lay down cash for one to DROS it that day, they told him they couldn't do it that day due to lack of SSE parts (sled).

              Fortunately, there are good guys like Baboosh to appease and adjust when necessary, but in just a couple weeks time from now, it will be nothing doing. They can only do so much.

              "Tear Beer" is going to be a new brand of California "microbrew."

                So sad that SSE has turned decent gun owners into such whiny biatches.

                        We received your gun on November 4th and you expected it to be DROSed immediately in the busiest time of year with SSE coming to an end. I spoke with you 2 days ago and informed you that we can see if we can try and squeeze you in but I need to see how many people pickup this weekend and if someone doesn't mind being pushed back to squeeze you in. I cannot just put you in front of everyone else because you decided last minute to transfer in 2 pistols and don't have patience. We told you today that we found someone who doesn't mind waiting another week so we will DROS you in roughly 5 days.

                        I never told you we were too busy for you, we told you we do not have any SSE kits available. I guess for you that was not good enough so you continued to calls us 13 times within 30 minutes trying to get an update today and voice your dissatisfaction and discontent.

                        We will be happy to ship your gun but you will need to pay shipping and the transfer fee.

                        Sorry but to ship a gun to us in November and expect to be DROSed immediately wasn't possible when thousands of people are doing the same in this state. Of course we will not retaliate, that is just childish and insulting to assume.
                        I wished you were located closer to where I live.

                                OP, I bought several pistols from out of state. Before I even commit to buy them, I ALWAYS ask my receiving FFL two things:
                                1. Can they SSE & block mags;
                                2. Time frame.
                                Only when I get confirmation would I buy the pistol and instruct the seller to ship.

                                If I were you, I would apologize to Baboosh and take up his generous offer.
