Isn't it somewhat funny that a PPQ can have a cheaper guide rod, plastic sights, "inferior ergos", less robust internals (wtf?), a longer take up, more muzzle flip and STILL be picked over the VP9 by many people who own both?

Just goes to show why they bothered inventing a different gun after the 1911 is already the best gun ever designed.

Sorry no panties here, just sharing what I've actually READ, EXPERIENCE, and PREFER. This is supposed to be a VP9 thread, the PPQ keeps getting mentioned here why? Who's panties are actually getting bunched hmm?

Camry is a boring, gutless, anonymous, plain, uninspired appliance.

So is the Accord.

The thought of owning either of them makes me want to drop an anvil on my own testes.

CBR or YZF or GSX-R or ZX. Trick question. None of this junk.

The correct answer is Triumph Speed Triple, Street Triple, Daytona 675R, or various Aprilia and Ducati models. Or BMW S1000RR.

I'm happy to clear this all up for you guys.

Oh, and VP9 versus PPQ versus whatever.... The answer is Wilson Combat.

I own a VP9, and and PPQ, and they are cool guns.

But the answer is Wilson Combat.

I think Street Triple vs Monster is pretty fair for comparison to PPQ vs VP9. I owned both at separate times and I say Street Triple >> Monster in everything but picking up women.

I own a Speed Triple. I'd like to test ride the new Monster 1200S.

But I don't want to deal with expanding fuel tanks and other common Ducati problems. My S3 has been flawless.

Never shot the PPQ but compared to Glocks both my Wife and I like the VP9's feel and ergonomics. Its a very well made pistol. Lot of this of course is subjective as people have different size hands etc... as well.

Was really interested in one of these until I held one. Hated the grip/grip angle (yes, highly subjective I know). Bought a CZ P07 and have never looked back.

LOL at least my "third grade" reading level surpasses your dime store psychology. Who said anything about it being the holy grail? I prefer the VP9 over the PPQ, and can count more objective reasons to like it than people who prefer the opposite.

There is no holy grail of guns... There is no perfect gun...everyone is gonna have their likes and dislikes about any gun. Was there alot of "hype" surrounding the VP9? YES! Are there alot of people that bought one based on the hype? YES. Are there people that realized that the VP9 wasn't for them? Yes. But isn't that how things are when they are brand new? Isn't that how guns are in general? Buy one, shoot it...keep it if you like it... Sell it if you don't. Same thing happened with the M&P Shield. There is Nothing new about this phenomenon.

Different strokes for different folks. If the VP9 came with a normal magazine release then I might buy one.
