To my knowledge there is no CA version, the 10 round magazines are out there (maybe they interchange with the standard M&P 9's that are/were on the list?) but the M&P Pro is not on the list. It doesn't try for compliance, no mag disconnect for instance. (trust me, dry fired one Saturday about 10 times.)
That said, Falcon if you were considering the one at the Shaw and Brawley store it isn't there any more. It sold Saturday. I don't know what everybody is talking about on nice new trigger, I thought the trigger was crap, not as much creep as the XDm (and IMO XDm has better ergos), but it was gritty. I just thought it was accepted that if you bought an M&P you had to install a kit and replace the trigger. (for me personally I also thought the trigger curve was way too pronounced, maybe I have fat fingers). Also I have been shooting my 1911 so maybe it was too much to ask for a poly gun to feel good.
No disrespect, but getting hung up on the mags is pointless, also you have it bassackwards. If you ever do want to sell it outside the USSRCa then those 17rds are going to be more desirable. drill out the rivets and they are back to normal. And Full Spectrum did a very nice job, they didn't just rivet the mags, they ground them nice and flush without messing up the magazine tube itself. great looking job.
Out the door cost, if you didn't use a credit card, would be right at 707.35.
In all honesty, I'm not even that hot on it. It was an impulse buy. My buddy was with me and he's the one that likes it and since they're supposedly hard to get I figured grab it while grabbing is good and I could always sell to him later if I didn't like it. Now it sounds like he is thinking a different route so I had better like it because I am probably stuck with it.
