How does the SSE list get updated? Just wanted to let those in the Goleta/Santa Barbara that Goodland Guns & Shooter Supply offers SSE. I don't remember all the models he does them for, but I do know he does 1911's and glocks I believe. If anyone else knows feel free to correct me and add info.
The store is located at 5708 Hollister Ave, Goleta, California 93117. Hopefully this gets added to the list to help other Calgunners.

I and certain moderators modify the original posts. I do not make changes unless the information can/has been verified.

What needs to be done so it can be verified?

I usually try to contact the shop directly via its e-mail address or a staff member here (if they have an account). Then I update. I have e-mailed Goodland Guns.

May I suggest that you contact the selling dealer and let them exchange or modify the mags for you. They obviously made an error. Give them the chance to make it right.

I do my SSE through Tracy Rifle and Pistol and they'll block the mags for $15 a piece. Seems steep but if you figure Sig mags are $40+, replacing my 10-round nanny-state mags when I leave CA costs more than the blocking fee. I'd rather have blocked full-caps and convert when I leave.

PS. If I received hi-cap mags in a shipment, I'd keep it on the QT until I could get them blocked properly—you did nothing wrong—but getting a dealer in trouble is not helpful. Just get them to fix them in compliance with the law. I hate these laws but I support the rule of law and will obey them and work like Hell to fix them in the mean time.

Full Spectrum Firearms in Fresno does the SSE and pins the mags at no charge. They mark handguns up $75 dollars over cost and just include these things as the "cost of doing business" in our lovely state.

Is there an extra charge if I buy on Gun Broker or other and ship to them? Generally, that's how you end up with hi-cap mags and a non-nanny-state pistol. If they do that, then that is a good deal.

I bought a SIG "Carry Nightmare" from them (Tracy Rifle & Pistol) in Feb. 2014 with no mark up for the SSE, but was told if I had a pistol shipped to them, there would be a $150 fee for the SSE.
