Depends if they have a sales or other office here or not, if they do, then they are here. I still don't want to sue anyone, but they need to honor their warranties although frankly I own a few firearms and have never needed the warranty know on wood.

After thought: this is their business, their industry. Other industries fight CA bureaucracy and don't take it out on consumers, why would the firearms industry? Althought ,I'll grant you, firearms are demised by the Leftists here like Reds were by McCarthy —it's that over-the-top.

Yes, if they have a presence in CA, then you could file and have them served there, which would work for small claims.

Yes, they do need to honor their warranties. One way to do that is for people who have had issues to make it known so that others can contact the companies. Public pressure can go a long way in getting things corrected, one small claims court case won't do a thing.

You can not transfer a firearm unless the transfer is exempt, or that the handgun is either exempt or on the certified list. If you are doing a SSE, then it has to be in that configuration before you submit the DROS since otherwise it is not what you are claiming it is.

If you are buying the firearm from a friend, then why don't you just do it as a PPT which means that the firearm does not need to be on the certified list as the transfer is exempt.

Nice to know a lot of LGS are supporting SSE because time is short.

I am waiting for an actual confirmation from them, rather than "Should be no problem".

A few guys still think it is 'illegal' to convert a single shot to semi auto (XDm, Glock, Draco, AR, etc). Im hoping to get an XDm soon through them, otherwise, it will be bright spot or Rifle Gear.
