Niceshot in Redding does LOTS of single shot exemption work. Including the two Glock 42's that recently came in and were sold within about 20 min!

They have just about every license you can get in CA regarding sales / transfer of guns and ammunition.

Yes. Essentially it got veto'd because they tried to cram other stuff in, not because of the bit stopping exemptions.

I have a question about SSE process. Dose it matter if the pistol is used? If I were to buy a 1911 from an out of state FFL that is used can it still qualify for SSE?

Does MPArms or Digital Insticts have high capacity magazine permit?

Is it illegal for a online vendor to ship a high cap mag in rebuild kit form to FFL? Or it has to be blocked permanently before it arrives to CA?

            Gotcha thanks.

Has their been word if they plan to reintroduce it this year?

Nope, doesn't matter if it is used or not. Yes, it will still need to be SSE'd.

Not sure about MPArms, but Chris at Digital Instincts did have one at one point, however, since he is based in Sunnyvale, he never got a renewal. Sunnyvale, passed Measure C last year Dec. 6, which bans all magazines over 10rds, and gives until March 6, 2014 to remove them from city limits.

It is legal for an online vendor to ship "high cap mags" to a CA based FFL provided he has the high cap mag permit and is willing to accept them and block them to 10rds before giving them to the customer.

No it does not matter. Also doesn't matter if you're buying from a shop or private party etc.

If an off-roster pistol (Springfield XD-S, Kahr CW45) is purchased via SSE, then converted back to its "original" function, can it be added to one's CCW permit?

Thanks for the clarification. Just to double check, it would be illegal for a out of state vendor to ship a firearm with high capacity mags - even if it is in rebuild kit - if the FFL do not have a high capacity mag license?

                          Yes. That is correct.

I will stipulate that some counties may require CCW guns to be "on roster", but that language should be made clear. While this does not relate to how the gun was acquired, it's worth mentioning IMO.
