Angeles range don't give a damn what you shoot as long as you follow their rules and don't act like a fool. I even called them weeks after freedom week and they said they don't check or touch any customer's belongings.

I am not worried about it and only shoot at IDPA matches (perfect place to ese those damned 10 rounders) and at my private gun club (WEGC).

It is sad to hear about that Lytle Creek's no std cap policy and I am somewhat confused by their policy given that Burro Canyon operates under a USDAF master lease and I have not heard of anyone complaining about mag issues up there.

Unfortunately, it's just one post by Matt and it doesn't provide the rest of the context. It's good to read the full document by CRPA and understand the additional issues and concerns. It's hardly FUD.

We need more of the "damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead" attitude. Being a test case is an expensive hobby, so the more ignorant and the more blatant the violations the better. For the rest of us, that is.

Nothing to see here, please continue...

Two posters already mentioned that they've never been checked at the range. Me neither. So let me ask this group ... has anyone ever checked your magazine at a range?

I have not. Some others may have. there have been reports over the years of being checked on BLM, or people getting charged with LCM, but usually those involve other reasons for a primary interaction or charges.

LOL.. I am in the same boat. I have more than enough but I bought more during freedom week just to make a tangible F'you statement to the democrats in this state.

                      This ^^^

By not using them (individually and collectively), you're marginalizing yourself and your group. This is never a good strategy, once groups are marginalized, it's easy for them to be picked off and destroyed. It was a strategy used by the gun industry for most of the 20th century, they kept their heads down, stayed under the radar, and unwittingly let the left write the narrative that guns were bad, as we watched our rights steadily be eroded to their current state. Even the NRA realized it was a losing tactic, and got more "in your face" to politicians they were donating to.

If it's your right, use it, and don't hide it. Anyone tells you different, explain the law (know the law first). There's no shame in being aware of your rights, stop acting like there is.

Not saying to be a dick, but don't be afraid to stand up for what is legal, right, and proper. It's like some leftist sphincter in a Biden hat yelling at someone in a MAGA hat, and the MAGA hat wearing individual is supposed to accept this behavior. Fight back and reclaim your rights.

Or realize that the state is lost to the left, and move out as soon as you can so your tax dollars are not used against you.

Never. As I said before, I am a veteran LEO and shoot at public ranges for many years . I never been questioned or witnessed anyone being questioned regarding what magazines they use , what guns they are shooting, what type of magazine release they have on their rifles , ETC. The ONLY thing I notice , that many ranges dont want people to shoot steel core ammo.

                                Bitcoin?....hardly.
More 10 round mags will be made and sold, and the supply will catch up.
The 10+ will be worth major $$ on the underground market.
