Why? You're at a range? Why attract attention to yourself? Might have them confiscated by the off duty LEO in the next to you.

If they think they are acting lawfully, it could go badly for you, even though many hours, and thousands of $$$ later it might be resolved in your favor.
The status of Duncan v. the state stays the enforcement of the non-possession of LCMs magazines. You can “envision”whatever you want. But, in an era of “defunding” the police, what jurisdiction would put forth the hours to conduct surveillance to identify folks doing things for which they cannot be arrested/prosecuted?

I've always brought mostly standard capacity magazines, and have never once had a issue. Why would I act like I'm breaking a law when I'm not and most people including law enforcement could careless on how many rounds you have and more on what your doing like if your going out of the way to make a scene or handling your firearms in a bad/irresponsible manor.

Unfortunately even CRPA acknowledges that High cap mags may still be seized as "nuisance" items, although it is their opinion that it would be unlawful, and they make a good argument against it. It does not mean it may not happen if there is any ambiguity or wiggle room on the part of the LEO and it's going to be more trouble than it's worth to get them back. Just to provide all of the perspectives.

Ive seen people call the local Sheriff Dept to report possible illegal firearms at public ranges numerous times

if they see a guy using hi capacity mags, they might question you, public ranges always have a few Karens / nosey Nancys

an opportunity to tell them about the freedom week and make them feel worthless betrayed by dems for not paying attention to what kali is doing to their 2-a.

don't prohibit yourself using legally obtained standard magazine. kali is already doing that for you so why help them take away your diminishing 2-a even more?

With a magazine inserted into my G19 it is impossible to tell whether it is a 10 round or 15 round magazine. And if there is someone at the range whose job it is to count the rounds fired to nab a shooter with a 10+ magazine I would suggest that the "someone" should seriously get a life.

these days, i don't want any attention, even if it is born of ignorance.

and even if wasn't an issue, with the price of ammo being what it is, i am not playing operator and doing multiple mag dumps anyway.

lastly, i would only consider anything "high capacity" if it was a handgun magazine that sticks out below the grip.
