Glock 19/17 Optics-Ready Slide - What will you get?

You ARE absolutely right, and was actually contemplating that course of action. Unfortunately, OEM slides for the G19.3 have been out-of-stock for weeks now. I have placed mysef in waiting list notifications, etc. but so far, it has been naught.

Hence, I am thinking if this to mill my current OEM slide so my wife has something to use. Then once inventory comes back, to buy a new OEM slide that doesn't need to get milled...



As for Battlewerx - I am actually thinking of going with Jagerwerks because they have a "boss" (front recoil posts). Might as well...

@rodralig Battlewerx also machine the recoil/alingment boases into the slide also included in their price. They also make a plate for 20.00 to install if you deside to remove the RMR.

Battlewerx has two (2) posts.

Jagerwerks uses four (4) that aligns with the SRO/RMR.

Just paired a Grey Ghost V4 slide with RMR on my G19. The zev slide kit didn't function all too well with the slide so I swapped the kit out with the stock and all is well. Much more accurate with the RDS on.

I have not. The only secondary side I have right now is a lone wolf 35 slide. I'll be buying it in three next month or so I'll give you a report on it.

I used rock slide for my 26 before going to Suarez. The rock slide broke within 100 rounds. They sent a replacement which also broke just as fast. Just be careful. Their slides are thin and not durable in my past experience with them.

I just got a Suarez slide for my glock 34 with the NP3 coating (teflon impregnated ceramic). My friend told me about Gabe's sketchy past but their prices seemed too good for what you get. They also had in-stock product and quick shipping to CA (from Prescott AZ). I probably would have gone with Agency but they don't make 34 slides anymore. I was going to go with Brownells but they are uncoated and have a soft surface. The Suarez slide feels legit and has done a great job so far.
