I ended up picking this up has a fast fire 3 on it. Threw a remsport barrel in there. Haven't gotten to shoot it yet though.

Just a libertarian guy in a Leftist Authoritarian state.

Let me know how it goes? The price is very compelling - but then again, this is NOT a specialization of Midway. Same for Brownell's slides... Hence, a bit hesitant. Maybe good enough for a fun range day, but...

I have seen/heard of slide failures - and I don't want someone coming back to me saying "you got what you pay for..."

That said, I would not want to mill the OEM slide and looking to purchasing an optic ready slide.
Done!!! After zeroing the pistol at 10-yards a week back, brought it back to the range for another function check, in particular whether the red dot may have come loose and/or lost its zero.

I think after 3"x4" headshots at 10-yards and a 7-yard Dot Torture with 5 down - the pistol is ready for her 2-day class!

That said, I like how Battle Werx did their milling. Instead of having posts, they actually "elevated" the screw slots allowing for longer screws and a tighter fit (no play). I think I will be going with them for my Glock 21SF, especially they have a good year-end sale at the moment.

Then zeroed it for 10-yards. With the 8MOA circle - about 2-inches or less groups at 10-yards using 147GR factory ammo (Lawman TMJ).

        Adding the following -
        • Glockstore Thug Plug
        • Jentra Tungsten Guide Rod + 15-lbs ISMI spring
        • Talon Grips Pro
        • Taylor Freelance basepads

I guess my Wife is GTG for her "refresher" class in early January....! (was really worried that the BattleWerx's slide won't arrive in time).

Looks good! Too bad you had the holster issues, but hey, that's why we all have a drawer full of miscellaneous holsters! I like the holosun!

I picked up a G4 Brownell's slide with an RMR cut. It would not play nice with an OEM barrel. I picked up a KKM and it does not appear to have the same hang ups, which the OEM did just with dry firing. Hoping to see how I can do with the KKM next week.

That's what I'm doing, staying stock with Tru-Glo sights. Not interested in optics at all on my EDC and HD Glocks.

I picked up a Brownells G19 RMR cut Slide. I've put about 500 rounds thru it and no problems so far.

I do want to have my OEM slide milled at some point, but don't know who to have do the work.

What the iron sights on the G26 you have?

That slide sounds great from the reviews. Price looks similar to my Brownell's 19 slide, but I think the parts kits were more like $80 then and $130 now. Tempted to build one for an RTF to swap out and steal a FF3 from a shotgun that really doesn't need one.
