I would say that if OP wants to improve his groupings, then he should practice with the stock triggers. Changing the trigger just hides the problem. If he can get his technique to improve then he'll never need new triggers in any gun, regardless of how crappy they may feel.

S&W and CZ constantly rate higher than your beloved Glock with many of those organizations. Glocks are a good mid level gun. There are others that are just as good for less money.Originally posted by HopetonBrownI didn't mention XD magazines.
And yes, noobs love XD's. Glocks are used by MARSOC, AWG, NSW, CAG, FBI and 60% of law enforcement. Not to mention top finishers in USPSA and IDPA Nationals. Why isn't XD?Comment

Correct. I want to stay stock. I want a pistol with a longer barrel. It's not like we'll ever get CCW in this state for me to get another sub compact.I would say that if OP wants to improve his groupings, then he should practice with the stock triggers. I have ccw in this state. Something like 10,000+ people and counting in my county alone have one. What are you talking about?

These are popping up everywhere now. 34, 17, 26, 19 all hitting the market now. My LGS had all of those recently and I just had him get me the 26 since he sold the one he had. I remember seeing a few FB posts about the OD shipments and an email all from different dealers.
Anyone see any OD 36's?Comment

Harry Callahan used a Smith & Wesson Model 29, and he was one of the best SFPD Inspectors of ALL TIME.Originally posted by HopetonBrownI didn't mention XD magazines.

Jack Bauer uses an HK USP, and he works for the GOVERNMENT!
Martin Riggs, LAPD Detective used a Beretta 92 and his Partner Murtough used a 4 inch Smith & Wesson.
Skynet Forces use a Westinghouse M-27 Phased Plasma Pulse Rifle in 40-Watt Range.
If all these bad arses can Operate without a Glock, SO CAN YOU.Comment

My all time favorite
Al Pacino carries a Colt 1991A1. The cop with the Glock got beat up and the Glock pistol kicked to the side. The wise man said just find your place

Just wanted to mention him. I'm sure Vogel can be top dog with a Tanfo or any production gun he chooses, and he is at the top of his game. He can beat me with a hi-point in his hands. So many superb shooters that can win the title and it's not because of what brand they shoot, it's the Indian behind the bow.Originally posted by HopetonBrownI did say "top finishers", not winners. Vogel basically wins the IDPA Nats every years with a G3 G34.
I think 2 of the top 5 guys at the USPSA Nationals were shooting G34s. The other guys either had Tanfo's or CZs.
