If you're looking to improve your grouping, neither of those guns has a very good out-of-the-box trigger. I'd buy the XD and put the money you save into a PRP trigger kit.

I would say that if OP wants to improve his groupings, then he should practice with the stock triggers. Changing the trigger just hides the problem. If he can get his technique to improve then he'll never need new triggers in any gun, regardless of how crappy they may feel.

S&W and CZ constantly rate higher than your beloved Glock with many of those organizations. Glocks are a good mid level gun. There are others that are just as good for less money.

These are popping up everywhere now. 34, 17, 26, 19 all hitting the market now. My LGS had all of those recently and I just had him get me the 26 since he sold the one he had. I remember seeing a few FB posts about the OD shipments and an email all from different dealers.

I did say "top finishers", not winners. Vogel basically wins the IDPA Nats every years with a G3 G34.

I think 2 of the top 5 guys at the USPSA Nationals were shooting G34s. The other guys either had Tanfo's or CZs.

If Leatham was hiding in Carry Optics then somebody might have won with an XD.

Just wanted to mention him. I'm sure Vogel can be top dog with a Tanfo or any production gun he chooses, and he is at the top of his game. He can beat me with a hi-point in his hands. So many superb shooters that can win the title and it's not because of what brand they shoot, it's the Indian behind the bow.
