First thing Reno says is "this is not click-bait." Guess what? It is. You have to go at least 6 min in before he gets to the meat which is there's issues with guns DROS'd in November not showing up as registered. All guns, not just P365s.

Watching that video was a waste of time.

But does the issues with any guns dros'd from that time frame still cause a possible issues as far as them being registered incorrectly by DOJ? If so, I'm sure a lot of people are unaware.

Sure the DOJ issue can cause owners problems. But titling the video "CANT CARRY CA P365 IN CALIFORNIA!!! CA DOJ HUGE ERROR THREATENS MANY P365 OWNERS!!!" is pure clickbait. Can't carry? No, as a previous poster mentioned you can get a copy of your DROS and submit as proof. That's an inconvenience, not what the title suggests.

I am selling a firearm that is currently on my CCW. I have just submitted the modification form to remove it. Do I have to wait to do the sale/transfer until my modification form is approved? Or is it ok to sell/transfer immediately?

My renewal is coming up, I was thinking about adding red dots to my guns on my next request. Is there any restrictions in our county with red dots ?

Modification was approved within two business days, and emails to ccw@sjgov.org quickly confirmed that I am ok to sell/transfer immediately. Appointment to pickup new ccw next week

I'm thinking about taking the ccw course by Legal Heat at Bass Pro in Manteca. Is this a good course and do I make the appointment with the sheriff before or after I take the class?

Can't speak about your choice for class.... but if you take the class, then get denied, you're out of time & money for class. Apply, get approved and then schedule the training class.

Depending on how long it takes for them to get to you if this is an initial application, I recall the class only being good for 90 days. If they take 6 months to get to your application, your class certificate, in that case, would not be valid and you would have to do it all over again. Once approved, and you submit a copy of the certificate, the rest of the process is very fast. I think my initial permit was 2 days from completion certificate to CCW in hand.

Has the Card Format Changed yet, I saw something about standardization but dont know if SJSO changed the way the card looks again

Look like a solid blue bar along the top, picture left, CA State seal in center of info area.

Saw a post on reddit a while back. Im gonna need to update mine again I switched a gun out last year and the manufacturer had to replace the frame on mine which means new serial number but same gun. but gotta reliability test it first. Save yourself a hassle and steer clear of KAHR P380, I wanted a pocket pistol but regret this purchase, perhaps I should have just got a Beretta 32ACP or SEACAMP I didn't want the sig P238 it urks me to carry condition 1 in my pocket even with a holster.
