Does anyone have the answer to this question? Since the recent decision on the 90 days (processing of applications) what does it mean for those of us well past the 90 day mark?

Had my appointment in December. I'm not sure whether I should consider 6-7 months for a decision or now perhaps they are going to aim for 90 days after the most recent decision. My meeting went fine and the officer was very personable.Leave a comment:

Again why do we have to wait this long . If it took this long to get a marriage license , or building permit or anything else from the county we would not put up with it . People need their permits to protect themselves .If you can buy a handgun you have already proven that you are not a prohibited person . If you have a handgun safety card you know how to operate it .If it is good enough for the state I should be good enough for the county .Leave a comment:

Applied for Oregon CCW (have second home there). App process took 20 minutes (paperwork, photo and fingerprints) Told to expect CCW in mail in two weeks. The following is for both my husbands and mine
*Called SJC 3/11 to schedule L/M.
*Rcvd call from SJC 3/12 that they only do interview appts one day a week. Got appt date of mid July.
*Rcvd call from SJC 3/18 told they now interview multiple days a week and did we want to move forward appt to 5/30.
*Appt with SJC 5/30.
*Took class from WTS 6/21.
*Took Utah CCW class from WTS 7/17.
*Mailed Utah paperwork 8/06.
*Called SJC investigator for update 7/24 L/M.
*Received return call from SJC Investigator 7/24 told four more weeks.
*Rcvd Utah CCW 9/15.
*Called SJC Investigator for update 10/02 L/M no response yet.
Will be 21 weeks tomorrow (10/24)
Patiently waiting but confident since Utah thought we were clear...
Hope to get Oregon within two weeks, Got Utah in 5 weeks. Interviewed in CA 27 weeks ago still no word. The irony.Leave a comment:

I had mine taken when I had my initial interview in early April. They took it again when I went to pick up the CCW and used the newer one.Leave a comment:

mojoe24. On my initial interview day, the Cadet working the PSD reception desk put my personal information up on the white board in the investigators area (name, CDL, DOB), had me stand to the side of the information, then snapped a pic of me. That pic (headshot only) was laminated at the bottom right corner of my CCW, and my thumbprint on the bottom left corner.
I interviewed 4/30, maybe they changed the process based on the high level of applications and turn downs. I was only describing how it went for me.Leave a comment:

Question to other CG members who have already been through the initial interview process...did you have your picture taken? I did NOT, curious if there are any others who did not have their picture taken...Leave a comment:

They told me all I needed was a copy of my business licence when I received my follow up phone call about my employers carry policy. I was approved with that information.Leave a comment:
