I have not heard about adding a weapon but I know someone that said his father applied in December or January and had a 4 month turnaround. They attributed it to an election year. That said, this guy is a bit of a talker and I am not sure how much I believe him.

Additionally I was talking to someone this week that happens to be a mutual acquaintance. He told me from knowing Mr. Withrow personally, that he is a gun enthusiast and strong 2nd Amendment supporter. I think that we will be in good hands.

Yes still very pro ccw nothing has changed. We will bring in several retired officers to help with the back log of applications and then streamline line it from there.

I sat by him in church the other day and almost asked him about it but I decided not to bring shop talk there. I think he will do the right thing in this case.

Got an email and a call from the investigator last week. Time from live scan to the call was a little over a month. Hopefully everything goes smooth and I get notified to proceed.

I had my initial appointment last Monday (6/4). Now the waiting has begun. Said I should be expecting a phone call in 2-3 months to have my interview over the phone. I hope that means it will only take 4-6 months to get approval. But the gentleman who does the live scan said it can be up to a year wait.
