They used my picture from when I interviewed. I went in told them my name. Took a seat. They came and took the originals for my certificate and qualification. I would copy them before you go to make it easier on them. I had copied mine the next person had not the girl seemed frustrated at that point. About 10 min later they had me verify the guns on there sign and take a thumb print, paid my remaining balance, about 5 min later had my permit, I was told to be safe and have a nice day

What all was involved with your pickup? Did they take your picture by chance? I had brought it up a few months ago that my initial interview experience varied slightly from others in that they never snapped my pic. Just curious what I should expect next week. Thanks for any insight.

How long of a wait did they tell you to expect at this point?

They told me April for the live scan (and that it would probably be longer), and 6 months to hear back from the sheriff's office.

Good to hear mojo and 92fatboy. If I Remer right you had some worries also the investigator said may be an issue

I did have some concerns. I was completely honest on my application, and some of what I wrote came into question. I believed that I'd rather tell the truth, than have them find out and call me on it. I grew up in a house where my parents taught me to always tell the truth, no matter what. Nice to see that I listened... This time... Lol

Long story short, applications are getting processed. It will never be fast enough for us all, but they are moving forward. I am happy that I made it through the wait without going TOO crazy. :-D

After calling in earlier today to check on status I just got a call back telling me that sheriff want to meet with me and shuld wait for appointment. More waiting but at least im hearing something defrant this time.
