I would still be without a permit had I not decided to forego my weapon change and called Sarah and just asked her to process it as it was last term. And FWIW your expiration date stays the same... I really wanted that commander size 1911 on my permit, but I wasn't going to wait indefinitely.Buy made in USA whenever possible.Comment

Have you actually read the instructions?
Apparently not since that is included in them.Mrs 38Special

I read the instructions. The issue is that this last fee was added at the end of the instructions as an after thought a *note if you will. The other fees followed an A,B,C format. If you can help, that’s great. If not, that cool too. Thank you for your thoughts on the matter.

C. Two separate postal money orders (from the Post Office) made payable to the
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department (SBSD), due at the time of your
interview.
(1) Fingerprinting - $119.00 (postal money order only)
(2) 20% of the administrative / background fees - $31.20 (postal money
order only)
At Range:
NEW CCW applicant:
SBSD Range - $112.00 (money order payable to SBSD)
Final fee - $124.80, the remaining 80% of the administrative background fee"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain..."

Thank you! I was getting a bit paranoid and started thinking I needed both sets. My interview is tomorrow hence the panic. Much appreciated.

Oh, even though it doesn't explicitly say it, bring two separate money orders to the range (range day) for the amounts listed."I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain..."

I saw what you saw Brownbear when I copied the lower section for you. I agree that a section "D" "Range Day Requirements For New Applicants" with the money order instruction ,would make it it tad more understandable. You will have plenty of time to get the "range" money orders after you get thru the interview and background check."I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain..."
