Yeah I've been looking. Found a few for $800-900 which is ridiculous but it is what it is. Hard to get a response from some people too.

Sunshine tax my man. I actually found one local for the "reasonable" price of $750, sold to me by a military LEO that was kind enough to leave the $390 price tag on it. Our wonderful anti-gun state has created a black market for off roster handguns for those that can afford them.

That being said, the 42 and 43 conceal VERY well. I'm still having a hard time with a cocked Glock pointing at my.... while I practice around the house. Carrying what I feel to be basically condition zero, well let's just say I'm trying to be man enough to admit I need more training and practice to feel I can do so safely. My CCW permit pickup call should be coming any day and I admit I'll probably carry un-racked until I figure it all out.

Yeah I don't mind paying for something I want it's just a tough pill to swallow considering my 19 I bought for $520. As far as carrying cocked at your manhood, just make sure you have a good safe holster and awesome trigger discipline. I've practiced for a long time at work being a business owner and at home since I don't have my CCW(only 21).I recommend a good Kydex holster. I use a trex arms sidecar and I love it.

The only thing I recall being mentioned was the situation where a 2nd person was in the vehicle... that off-body COULD be viewed by an officer as allowing the unlicensed passenger to have access, which could be a concealed charge against them, and IIRC, there is a statute applicable to the driver regarding allowing a passenger in their vehicle to have access to a loaded weapon.

I'm pretty sure that if you are the only occupant, off-body carry in the vehicle is fine, since you are the only person with access.

Of course, one email can clarify this

This is what I got from it too. It seems I recall hearing that you must be under control of the firearm when you have a passenger. It seems like I could have my gun in the holster in my door pocket as while the vehicle is moving with me in it that it can't be easily accessed.

Got a call today. But they had an issue with fingerprinting. I had to go do my prints again. Sarah said DOJ is down to a month wait now. Interviewed august 26. Others will be getting a call with the same issue.

How is it that some people know when their residence check is? Did a neighbor come tell you, or did they come to your door to verify you live there? I know I got my letter at work(since we are self employed) about a week after interview. Interviewed 2/1/17
