That's not much longer than my wait was last year.
My interview was mid-August and my range date was Jan 2.

I know... it seems like an eternity, but yes, the holidays DO tend to cause delays.

No ammo in the classroom. All guns remain locked in your vehicle until after class/lunch and you move down to the range.

So does anyone know how the SBSD defines “full-time” resident? My primary residence is in SBC; that’s the address on my driver license, tax returns, dros forms, etc. However, my job is in LA and I have a second home in LA also. In the past year, I would estimate I was in SBC roughly 60% of the time, but that number varies from year to year depending on my work schedule. My SB neighbors can attest to me being there regularly.

I’ve searched around for a more concrete definition of "full time", but haven’t found anything other than LA guys with cabins in Big Bear will be denied.

Seems like 50% would be the minimum, so you should be good.
I think the neighborhood check will be key for you.
