Deputy Diaz did my interview. He seemed surprised that I had a 3 year unemployment gap previous to working at Bass Pro then saw my 31 1/2 year fire service career. He actually chuckled at little. The rest was a breeze aside from the wait time.

How soon can you make an appointment for CCW renewal? Mine expires on 06/15/17. Does one take priority over those who are waiting for their interview date?

My instructor said to put in for renewal 90-120 days before expiration. The way they are slammed 120 probably a better idea.

Ya, best to keep an eye on the thread as it's pretty easy to gauge how backed up they are.

Of course, it never hurts to give them a call.

6/15, I'd call them around the beginning of March and see if you should go then or wait.

Just picked up my permit a week ago and tonight my wife started the application process to get her own ccw, interview date is 9-18-17. Hopefully between now and then something happens to speed up the process........

Call the office number on the back of your permit and they will take the report.
