I had my interview in Aug-2015 and the range in Jan-2016. Card in Feb. Been carrying ever since. It took me about 6.5 months. That was before they got real busy. Best of luck to all the new applicants. I hope your time goes by quickly.

I feel the same way. Our dates are pretty close. I was a month later on the interview.

Remember, $100 MO payable to SBSD, and $25 payable to AVGC.

Don't be disappointed when you don't shoot all 30 rounds.
Qualification is 5 rounds, reload, 5 rounds, 5 yards, upper torso, pass is 8 of 10.
30 rounds is the max that would would be allowed to shoot... if you don't get 8 of 10 on the first try, you get 2 more tries, so you COULD potentially shoot 30 rounds per gun.

Had my 2 year refresher course tuesday in Rancho Cucamonga... Sheriff McMahon dropped by and spoke for a few minutes... He really supports good citizens being armed!

I had a similar situation. Failure to appear, picked up, spent weekend in jail. My causation was not as innocent as yours (nasty divorce/broke) all long in the past. I fully disclosed. In the interview the deputy laughed and said "They used to book you for that?"

No Issue.
