Ouch August. Don’t forget lots of sunscreen & water. Like others said make it easy, small range bag with a lock on it-something you can easily carry 50-100yrds no problem.

      FEE INCREASE

      ATTN ALL NEW APPLICANTS

I just saw that the San Bernardino county sheriff's department has changed the fees for getting your CCW.

Make sure you check your paperwork for the correct amount.

      Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

So total is $26 more, $12 of that is the range fee increase.
I'm glad they clarified the marriage license issue.
It is now required for ALL marriages, but clarified as only if you have ever used a different last name, or want to put your spouse's gun on your permit.

Looks like they want a solid history on identity without any gaps (you could have been a wild child when you were Mrs .44Mag )
I had a hell of a time getting my security clearance at Douglas because Trak Auto's HR department "left" a 3 month gap in employment while my promotion from counter guy to manager was being processed... got paid every 2 weeks but HR showed that I didn't work there

How does that affect those who have already paid the original amount for the 20% admin fee and are waiting for their range date? My buddy was told his exact fees (the old fees) that he is to bring with him to the range when they called him for the range date. Would he bring money orders for the old or the new amounts?

It doesnt. Your buddy should pay the old fees hes been told (100/122.40), the new fees apply to anyone applying after the date it was changed.

Same thing happened between my interview and pickup date. There was a similar small increase (IIRC it was like 4%) in late '15.

My time in DMV was about 35 minutes. Most of the delay was my birth certificate seal isn't real deep. I was going to be like WTF if they made me get another one because they weren't satisfied with the freakin' seal!

I'm still waiting for it to arrive... slowpokes! It seems most people receive theirs in under a week... I've been waiting over a week (and I just bought 2 new guns over the weekend that I can't DROS now that I applied for the stupid real ID and got my fed limits apply one punched with a hole!)

Got my new license yesterday! Just over a week....

It sucked that the gun store had a sale and I bought two guns I couldn't DROS because of the hole. (They will take the "fed limits apply" but not the hole!) But now I'm all DROSd and just waiting for my 10 unconstitutional days!

Hi! I'm moving to San Bernardino in a few more months (likely in Highland) and I want to know what do they define as "full-time resident"? If I spend a majority of the year there but go to another county in CA for a month or two (I won't own property in that other county) do I lose the "full-time residency"?

My car registration and driver's license will still show the San Bernardino address but I may have to change my mailing address for the one or two months. If that results in losing "full-time residency" then does keeping the mailing address the same keep my "full-time residency"?
