If it is listed it is needed. It doesn't matter if you think it is redundant. They have reasons for wanting what they want.

What matters the most is that your info is current with DMV records.

My address was on my CDL was not the same as my current address. I had updated the DMV on my current address. No questions asked at my interview about it.

        How ironic.

The DMV "brown card" is not sufficient to buy a handgun, but is for a CCW.

Have I said lately that I love this county?

            Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Any suggestions for food on range day? Is it just bring a lunch box & ice packs as the instructions imply, or are there other options?

That's your best bet. There's not much around there and you have limited time.

In my class you ate during class to save time. So bring something that doesn't make a mess.

I did the same thing. Sandwich and a bag of chips.

Ditto... same as my regular lunch... Sandwich, string cheese, peanut butter crackers, a few bottles of water.
Normal lunch includes an apple, but I slice it so I don't juice my beard, and I didn't want to draw a knife in a CCW class

But considering my normal work day is 9 hours plus 3 hours on the road, I would have been good with just breakfast before class.

                        Good morning everyone.
I want to start by thanking you all for the invaluable information about the ccw process that is continually provided here.
I read a lot and post very little but I am grateful for your help
You helped me make it through the initial process two years ago and now it's renewal time, and once again I came here and found many invaluable insights as to the process. I have turned in my renewal paperwork and the ladies at HQ are beyond wonderful.
My renewal class is scheduled for next month and I can't wait.
Now comes my question, I am changing two guns on my permit and am just curious if Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings at Devore are better, less busy, traffic, etc?
It's funny how practical you become in finding out what works in belts, holsters, comfort, and what gun works best for you when you carry one every day.
Thank you all once again for the resources provided here.

Things to consider would be the temperature and daylight or not for the times offered.

Don't forget your POSTAL money order for class!!

There's no charge for modifying your firearms at renewal time. No money order needed.

True. But there is a charge to renew your permit. Which needs to be paid with a postal money order.
