Yes. You need to provide a copy of your marriage license.
Two of my three guns were purchased by my husband.

Excellent! I provided a copy of my marriage license at the interview, will I need to bring it to the range qualification also?

No, they just need it on file at the CCW office.

Info tidbit. At my gun club meeting last night we were told the backlog in SBC for CCW is down to 3 months. Which is why the gun club will not be doing the classes for the foreseeable future.

We'll see what happens to the Devore backlog after Brown signs AB2103 and all renewals need live fire.

Well hopefully this will lead to 5 yr licence renewals. Keeping my fingers crossed!

The two year limit is set by the State not the County.

If McCarty has anything to do with it, we'll be renewing every year.

When I first got my CCW we DID have to renew every year!!!!

                            Just came accross this: AB-1931
This bill would make a license issued to carry a concealed firearm valid for any period of time not to exceed 5 years. The bill would make conforming changes.

This bill by Fong has Sheriff McMahon's strongest approval and endorsement. He stopped into our renewal class - as he usually does to show his appreciation for his permit holders - and told us to call/write in support of AB1931. He's trying to stay optimistic about it's chances for success.
