Based on your timeline, I shouldn't expect a call anytime soon.
Speeding up the range only moved the bottleneck to the admin group.

    21 days since the range!

Tomorrow is 3 weeks since the range for me and still no call. They said 2-4 weeks so if there's no call today hopefully the call will come next week.

2 months past interview and still haven't gotten call.
i think one of my employers is the hold up because HR is in some office somwhere and I can't get ahold of anyone who wants to help just people saying they don't fill out paperwork and all employment verification is done through an automated system with a phone call.

              Renewal ramblings...

Yesterday, I went to the post office to get three money orders for my renewal. After I told the clerk the amount for the first money orders ($52.00), the clerk accurately guessed the amounts for the next two money orders ($38.00 & $25.00). Makes me wonder how many times the clerk has gone through this to remember the amounts for the money orders.

Anyway, my renewal class is 07-13 in Hesperia.

Maybe he has his permit and has first hand knowledge of the amounts.

Changing any of your carry guns?

                Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Possible the clerk or clerks are more CCW aware than others may know.

                      Yes.
Keeping one (Glock 30), dropping one (SIG P-290RS), and adding two (Glock 19, Glock 43).

Single platform makes sense. I already have the 19 and 43 on mine along with my 1911, you can guess which one I never carry. When it comes to renewal time I'll probably swap that anchor for another G.

I love my 642 airweight too. I carry that more than my shield. I love glocks but I don't even carry my 19 either

There were a lot of people there that day, so it'll come. My buddy got the call and picked his up on Friday, so it was exactly 20 days following the 6/17/17 class he attended.

That's good to hear! I was really hoping to get a call by today since I leave on vacation tomorrow morning. Oh well I won't be too far away so I'm sure I can sneak away from vacation for a couple of hours and pick it up if I get the call this week.

I would. The peace of mind that comes with that will be awesome. Carry is so freeing.
