Same as everyone else, bigger than your drl. Just fold it in half and tuck it in your wallet.

For mine, issued Aug last year, the paper itself is 3.8" wide and 5" tall. When I picked it up they folded it into 3.8" wide x 2.5" tall and laminated it. When I fold it in half along the width, the permit is just about as tall as a CA driver's license but not as wide. When folded, it fits comfortably behind my DL in my wallet.

On the topic of mods. I was told by an instructor a long time ago that if you have a modded firearm that you have to end up using someday, it could come up in court and be seen as you wanting to make it more lethal or anticipating using the firearm. Not sure how much that matters but this is CA and they always love to go after the good guy....

Relax and answer their questions honestly.
It's basically just a review of the questions you answered on the application.

Definitely just be honest about anything they ask. Not that I was dishonest bit they found something in my past from about 5 years ago that I had forgotten. Once I explained all was good and I recieved the notice to move forward with the training.

How long is the interview? Is it a one one interview? Or a panel?

Well 10+ years ago for me its 1 on 1 . Not a big deal if you are a good citizen. Dont worry about it at all, go in being happy that you will soon have your right to self defense confirmed from your local sheriff.

For me it was 1 on 1 and lasted about 30 minutes. It will vary on your background though. And probably the officer conducting the interview.

Anybody knows what the process is to add another handgun onto my active license? Lead time/timeline/cost? Thanks!
