Those with cancelled issuance appointments are able to reschedule on the 20th or 27th of June. Only issuances, nothing else.

The editors suggest that money could be used elsewhere. They suggest a Spanish speaking psychologist or housing for the homeless.

I can't post it due to the paywall. http://www.sacbee.com/opinion/editor...e81014202.html

"We do not feel safer now that one in every 135 Sacramento County residents had a concealed-carry permit. And we certainly don't believe taxpayers should pay for the gun owners' privilege."

What a joke. This isn't about you, sacbee. I don't care if you're scared. Your views shouldn't affect the way I choose to be prepared. These hit pieces on Jones are starting to get comical. What about the money we spend on illegals? On criminals? On the homeless? On redundant and useless firearms laws?
Wait...a Spanish Speaking Psychologist For more than 200k a year? No waste ther huh?

These Sac Bee articles are going to get more and more ridiculous until tue of next week when everyone votes. Theyre going to smear Jones as best they can.

I'm going to be moving to a new residence within Sacramento County in a few months. What are the procedures to complete a Change of Address?

I see this listed on the SacSheriff website:
Address Changes: If you are moving, California State Law requires you to change your home address with DMV within 10 days [NOTE: updating your automobile registration will NOT update your home address!.] It takes at least 72 hours for DMV to update their database and before your modified CCW permit can be issued we must check DMV’s database to verify your address change. You must bring with you to your appointment two (2) pieces of proof of residency dated within the last 60 days. WE DO NOT accept overdue bills! Acceptable proof must be a monthly bill such as a utility bill, bank statement, cell phone bill, credit card statement, etc. We do not accept documents from DMV as proof of residency! You will be required to surrender your current CCW permit before receiving your newly modified CCW permit.
