I think this belongs in the political forum. Not saying I disagree, but way off topic...

Did you hear who President Obama and the gun control cabal say are to blame?

    YOU.

The most deadly shooting in modern American history is YOUR fault.

    An outrageous accusation!

But, that was the message earlier today when Obama responded to the horrific terrorist attack in Orlando that resulted in the murder of 50 people.

Before the wounded could reach the hospital, the anti-gun crowd was again exploiting this tragedy to push their agenda.

Not surprisingly, Obama and other leading gun control activists are blaming the Second Amendment and supporters like you.

Predictably, the mainstream media rushed to get cameras in the face of anti-gun politicians and pundits to make their pitches for gun control.

But there’s one thing they’re not talking about.

The night club was a “gun-free” zone!

    That’s right.

The very same gun control laws Obama and the vultures in the media are pushing may have actually helped contribute to another shooting.

Make no mistake, the Second Amendment is NOT the problem.

    Gun control causes the problem.

    Gun control is the problem.

And radical Islamic terrorists -- like this shooter -- are taking advantage of it.

It was gun control that helped disarm hundreds of people at the Pulse night club last night.

    Gun control laws like:
*** Florida statute 700.06 which BANS guns by law from restaurants and night clubs.

*** Florida’s mandatory permit and carry laws which prohibited last night’s victims from carrying a firearm to defend themselves.

Tragically, over 100 people in Orlando have paid and are paying the price for these failed anti-gun policies.

So when the President complains about how “easy it is for someone to get their hands on a weapon,” remember this:

The only person who was able to get their hands on a gun last night was a terrorist.

Everyone else in the night club was legally prevented from defending themselves.

Just like in San Bernardino. Just like the Washington Navy Yard. Just like Chattanooga and Roseburg. Just like Aurora, Sandy Hook, and Columbine.

Just like in Paris, last year, where the entire country is a gun-free zone.

Virtually every time a massacre like this happens it’s in a place where guns are banned!

    Except for criminals and terrorists.

That’s why so-called “gun-free” zones are nothing but deadly killing zones.

And that’s why the National Association for Gun Rights is fighting to repeal all gun-free zones.

So every innocent law-abiding American can defend themselves from attackers and nut-jobs like this.

Now, details about the shooter are still being revealed, but here’s what we know so far:

He was an American citizen born in New York to parents who were from Afghanistan.

He was Muslim, a registered Democrat, he worked as a security guard and had connections to ISIS.

He was so strongly suspected of having terror affiliations that Federal law enforcement visited him three times over the last three years!

Despite his multiple run-ins with law enforcement, he went through a background check when he purchased his firearms and came back clean.

    Once again gun control failed.

And all signs suggest it wasn’t because they had a lack of warning about who this terrorist was.

    They just dropped the ball.

But that won’t stop President Obama and his gun control cronies from gleefully waving the proverbial bloody shirt of the victims in order to advance their radical agenda.

Sadly, their credo of “never letting a crisis go to waste” has no limits.

First and foremost, please remember to keep the families of the victims of last night’s attack in your thoughts and prayers.

And then get ready because it’s about to hit the fan.

Tomorrow, anti-gunners in Congress are sure to begin yet another push for gun control legislation.

They’re expected to DEMAND things like Obama’s “No-Fly, No Guns” program, which would give the Federal government the ability to label you a “terrorist” because they don’t like your politics.

But that’s not all. They also want to:

    *** BAN standard capacity magazines.

*** Gut concealed carry, making more Americans defenseless.

*** Outlaw semi-automatic rifles and handguns, and deny patriots like you the means to defend your self from terrorist-style attacks.

*** Build federal databases of all gun owning patriots like you and me, to aid in their ultimate goal of COMPLETE civilian disarmament.

*** Declare American citizens “mentally unfit” without trial or legal process and permanently strip them of gun rights - with almost anyone capable of being declared “unfit.”

Of course, none of these proposals would stop terrorists like we saw last night from getting their hands on the tools they need to inflict harm.

And if any of these proposals become law, more innocent law-abiding Americans will be rendered defenseless, unable to fight back against criminals and terrorists.

That’s why, we must be ready.

We must be prepared to fight the coming anti-gun tidal wave.

Anyone know if this is true?

I'm still going to go in person this week to see if anyone is there, and try to get it done.
If you want to talk to someone in CCW, call them on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

No. CCW is a small portion of Livescan's business. Just go down, takes all of 15 minutes.

Go to Elk Grove and stop by any Walmart and buy as much as you want without any paper. But they do limit to 3 boxes a day for .22 if you can find one.

Yeah, I cannot buy mail order ammo living within the city of Sacramento. Usually travel to a place in Orangevale just so I don't have to fill out the Sacramento form to purchase ammo. People who don't live here don't know how bad a city can screw things up.

You are right. "Just as the lower court ruling had no effect on our CCW policies, nor will this decision," Sheriff Jones wrote to the Bee editorial in an Email.

Check the bios on all other Supervisors, and they are all interconnected to the Dem machine in Sacramento. And Steinberg runs that machine.

Sounds like a perfect storm of badness for LTC, especially when you add in Jones' possible departure for DC. My next renewal is a year away; it may be all over by then.

That kind of stuff, as bad as it is, isn't in the same level as declaring the whole city a "gun free" zone with no LTC exemption. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic (not something I'm often accused of). But you're right, this is his obvious springboard to governor. The only question is whether he wants to be big fish in a small, stagnant pond for 2 years or 6. I imagine he'll create as much havoc as possible for 2 years and run in 2018. Challenging an incumbent in 2022 wouldn't make sense.

Probably, but I'm trying to envision the nuts and bolts of exactly how that would play out. Can they set a limit on certain categories like that? Or do you think it might be more along the lines of quid pro quo if the sheriff (probably not Jones--more likely his successor) goes along with their agenda?
