Should I try contacting, or just wait a little longer?
I would contact them. I did my livescan on 6/5 through postal annex. The background cleared on 6/13. That day i just sent an email asking if i needed to do anything else. They responded saying i was approved and i picked up my permit today!

          1) Anyone know the minimum caliber permitted for carry in Riverside?
          2) Is it true you don't have to re-qualify/get inspected with additional firearms added once you're approved?

No firearm smaller than a .380 caliber or larger than a .45 caliber.

Yes, every pistol needs to be inspected and you have to qualify to add.

I posted my qual sheets on 6/5, then emailed. Response was "...it will be processed as time permits". I think they are kinda swamped.

So none smaller than .380 would exclude .327 magnum; basically all .32 caliber rounds as well as .25 and .22 I suppose.

                    5.7

I asked about adding a 5.7 and was told probably not even though they do have a minimum caliber, muzzle velocity is high and would have to get approval from higher up.

So the muzzle velocity is the primary determining factor for 5.7?

I don't have a 5.7 but I'm curious to hear what happens with approving it

                        CCW Costs

Hi guys! I was just hoping to ask about what is the total cost for a CCW permit including the required training course, live scan, psychological test, and permit fees?

This isn't a new question to them and the answer remains no 5.7.

Here's a bit of a price break down on their site

                            Initial fee $115 (although I swear I thought I paid $120)
Training course $150 from the few places I called and asked
Livescan was $25 for me locally in Palm Desert
                            Issuance fee is $80

So total is gonna be about $370, depends on where you go for training class

No my psych evals needed for RSO
