I just finished an add to mine. You can use any approved facility for qualifications - they will give you a form you upload to the portal. The process was really easy.
Start by calling or emailing your investigator and letting them know you are adding a weapon to your CCW. If you are going to use Ben Clark for qualifying ask for an appointment (no fee for adds).
Go to portal. Fill out a one-page form (remember to include your previously approved weapons). Pay a fee using your CC on line. Upload any documents they request (CDL). Submit form and print out a copy for your records.
Go through qualifying and get a copy of your signed qualification form from the instructor - you do not have to requalify with existing weapons. Take that home and upload it to the portal. Call or email investigator to tell them you are done.
Wait until they call you to come pick up your revised CCW (I got the call the day following qualifying)."1911 mag, twinkie, twinkie, cupcake, primary weapon mag"

Thanks for the info. I will call this afternoon after work. Did they say how much it was? Someone above mentioned $100 which is half the price of most any other training facility that I have found.Comment

When I did mine, I believe the paperwork stated the same as all the other payments. Money order, cashiers check.
I paid with a money order since I already bought money orders for the application process (before the online application was live). I believe they were taking personal checks from some people. I do not believe they took cash.Comment

Either way, you finish the application with that part missing. After your class you can upload the finished form (with their signature) to the website.
You can call Ben Clark directly and ask for their schedule. I did this BEFORE my interview, so I was able to schedule it much sooner than others. Do the same with your live scan. They have a specific set of locations they will accept from, so find one of those and schedule it. This will all minimize your total waiting time from interview to card pick up.
I don't have the picture currently on my device. Look in my posts you'll find a post with the picture of the live scan accepted locations. I know the 4th floor in Downtown Riverside sheriffs building does it. It was right across the hall from the old ccw unit there.Comment
