Ok, I will make sure to let them know. I work near 2 of the people doing the letters for me and the other one lives near me so it I'll have to swing by for signatures.

My investigator asked if I could have my reference sign it and then email it back. But it wasted time. I did t bother to open the letters and pre-read them. They came sealed, did t matter to the investigator, he asked that I open them for him to read, mind as well save the hassle.
1.) have the reference state something about your good judgement and character
        2) state that the reference is aware that you are applying for a permit.
3.) sign date and provide a phone number.

Anyone know if there is a timeframe/deadline between getting pre approved and the safety course and weapons qualification? Id like to know if I'm approved for a ccw before I purchase a compact ccw weapon.

          Thanks

I have my renewal interview appointment in three weeks. Can I do my gun qualifying now or should I wait until after the interview. I am certain I will be approved. I just cant remember if I have to get any paperwork for the gun qualifying or just set it up and go down there. Thank you.

Qualify as soon as possible. I made the mistake of qualifying at the last minute. The renewal app has been waiting for this and now I am expired. Had I completed this when I first submitted the app. I'd likely have been done already. Especially if you are doing a renewal.

I heard it’s suggested to start to renew at least a month or two before it’s expires, but yah quality first.
