I believe it would have to be the same caliber as what you plan on carrying.

That would effectively mean that there is no way to list a pistol that was DROSed as a frame. Unfortunate.

Does anyone know why you can no longer have a gun registered to your spouse on your permit in OC even with a marriage license.
The "slippery slope" is not a fallacy; it is a strategy.

Due to SB2 iirc. That part of the law was not challenged.

One can never underestimate just how stupid politicians are.

Politicians are people who can't get or hold a regular job, but look at it this way, SB2 is a codified excuse to buy more guns.

They just go through the same questions that you answered on your application and they confirm your answers and ask if anything has changed since you submitted application. There are no other questions.

Yeah, it likely needs to be volreg-ed or pawned in- and out, in order to have the caliber cleared.

I added a pistol to my permit earlier this year. About a month and a half from submission to new permit.

Question Team: doing my renewal and was going to add a gun. I purchased a used G19 frame only and OCSD said this. How do I change this?

fiream is showing as a “0” caliber in DOJ’s system. We also see that it is registered as “Frame Only” in the miscellaneous field. A firearm may be legal to possess in California and NOT approved to list on the CCW. The department is currently not adding firearms that are listed as “0” caliber as well as showing registered as frame only. Thank you for your understanding”

how would I be able to register this as not a frame only? Go to an FFL and do ppw on it?

I just added a 365 to my permit. It took just under 90 days, the first time I heard anything was when I asked if I would have to retake training if I didn't get the amendment before the 90 days were up.
