Just finished my 2nd renewal today. My timeline was 88 days from completed application submitted online to payment. The approval actually came at 70 days, it took a while to reach someone at the CCW unit for payment.

Hello fellow calgunners,
I submitted my CCW request and have an interview appointment in January.
I tried searching, but couldn't find any recent results regarding good cause.
Is this still pertinent? and is "general self defense" still a good cause?
[edit] I applied in the orange county areaComment

5th or 6th renewal in Orange county. Expires 7/5/24, so I put the renewal application in last week.
Was asked to list all minor traffic tickets over the past 5 years with date and infraction number. (or what ever # its called)
10 mph over, May have been moving making R turn at a red light etc. Minor stuff.
Have had an un lucky couple 3, and notified the Sheriff dept. same day with all.
But am not sure how to get the specifics? DMV? My Ins Co.? Or does the Sheriffs dept. already have that info?
Typically just pay, throw away and try and forget about them.
Thanks

I would get a DMV print out and stay away from your insurance company less they know the better.5th or 6th renewal in Orange county. Expires 7/5/24, so I put the renewal application in last week.
