Yes. That is still the law. However, a lot of IAs don't seem to care and have no problem violating that law.

9/14/22 - Amendment Approved / Payment Taken
Present (9/16/22) - Waiting for CCW to arrive in mail. Takes 3-7 business days according to OC CCW Licensing Unit

6/19/22 - CCW Application submitted
8/04/22 - Firearms Completed
9/15/22 - OCSD Interview
9/15/22 - CCW Approval
9/16/22 - CCW Phone Payment (card mailed per OCSD)

anyone have any idea if we need to report BUSINESS address changes? I literally just switched jobs (still in the same county), but my new CCW now reflects my old business address

I have my interview next week and I was going to ask if I could use my business address because I do divorce law and would prefer that my home address not be the public record.

9/17/22 - Appointment rescheduled from 5/9/23 to 11/15/22

I received an automated email on 9/17 rescheduling my appointment. The interview is going to be conducted via Microsoft teams.

Unfortunately the OCSD is not accepting amendments right now so I can't add any additional pew pews to my license.

Good cause still necessary?

When I did my renewal I still needed a good cause statement. Now since the court decision is it still necessary? I'm going to walk a friend through the process and would like to know ahead of time. If I remember correctly they will also have to have their firearm at the time of the application in order to list it on the application, right? Thanks in advance, Bob

GC statement is no longer required. Put Self Defense or NA. It doesn't matter.
You need to list all guns S/N on your application or amend it later
