Just a timeline from my end. I let mine lapse so I have to do a full initial again which sucks.

10/10/23 application with interview for 12/5
        10/10/23: reschedule email for 11/2/23
        10/17/23 Live scan $93 + Live scan cost $30
LiveScan complete: 10/17-CA &FBI; 10/20-Firearms (was shocked at the speed)

Made my CCW Training for 10/29 (again have to do the initial training again because I?m an idiot)

Will update after the interview, but if all goes well, should be done in 3-4 weeks. I don?t know if it helps I have mine for 6 years prior to letting it lapse by 4 months.

I am not aware of one. They don't like AR pistols though.

It appears that amendments are on the back burner though. I've had one in the works since 8-11-23 and still waiting.

My bad. Turns out I forgot to upload my DL.
            Approved yesterday
Are you supposed to upload it right away or did they come back and ask you for it? I have an ammendment in since Sept. 30th and wondering if I should just upload DL?

            THanks,
            Mike

You should upload any documentation including DL when you first file the amendment application. I forgot the DL and they sent me a notice of incomplete application and gave me a deadline of two weeks to get it fixed or the whole application would be rejected. My amendment was approved two days after I uploaded the DL. I would do it ASAP but still figure it will take about 60 days to get the approval.

THank you. I went ahead and uploaded it. I didn't see anywhere in the instructions when I filed it that they require a DL. I am at 4 weeks right now so looks like I need to be more patient

                    Weird scenario

Had my interview yesterday, lady told me they are running about 3 weeks behind. Today I get a text to check my email. Check email and they ask me to take a fingerprint of one particular finger and upload it. Seems bizarre. Anyone else hear of this?

It?s for your permit. Theres a printed fingerprint on the back of the card IIRC.

Not weird at all. They did it before covid in person.

I submitted one about 30 days ago. I have heard that it is about 60 days (from others onhere) for an ammendment.

                              8/30 renewal application submitted
9/08 firearms training certificate completed and uploaded (all paperwork now in)

Permitium status still only says that the order was started and they are working on it 68 days in. I have until mid-December for my current permit to expire so there is still plenty of time. Two years ago this process was 4-6 months long so 60 to 80 days nowadays is impressive!

                                Is uploading fingerprint new!

I did mine in Sep/Oct and didn?t ask for it and my fingerprint is on my card. I always thought it came from Live Scan.
