I just submitted my renewal packet, all but the training. Expiry date is March 22. Anyone aware of the current turnaround times?

I renewed in June. Not sure about current turnaround times, but sure you will get faster response if you go ahead and submit a training cert. An OCSD staffer told me they would not submit for approval until the package was complete. I did that in June and mine took 60 days. Are they advising anything different now?

This. Currently in final review but they are backed up due to Covid so it may take a few weeks to get a response.

I think they are keeping pretty aware of expirations though and appear to be making sure current CCW's don't expire.

My original appointment was scheduled online for 6/1/2021 and then I found a slot 2/1/2021. I got a call asking if they could move me to 12/14/2020 (tomorrow) last week. Keep checking the website for something earlier and they may give you a call as well to fill in a slot somewhere.

I took your advice and logged in right now and found an opening on 3/24/2021. I moved up 2 months just by reading your post. Thanks! I will continue to check every day (probably go overboard and check more often now to see if I can score an even better date).

Haha, I think I just moved up from 6/9/21 to your old spot if it was 5/26/21! Nice work on scoring that date. Hope I can nail down a much sooner appointment.

I know this was asked months ago, but for people who have gotten their renewals recently, did your new card have an expiration date from when your current renewal was approved or two years from when the expiring card expires?
