No, I don't know anything or anyone important. The fact is that I received my permit for the third renewal using the exact same good cause. I am not sure why you don't seem to understand this?

In any case, good luck to everyone on getting their permit!

        Tell that to John172

I also used the same GC for last renewal(which worked then) and submitted additional documentation when asked. The Official Reason: ‘The requirement of good cause was not satisfied because it did not meet the criteria set forth in OCSD Policy 218, and/or was not supported by proper documentation’. If something changes for the better, I’ll give an update on here.

          Customizing Ur CCW

What about modular platforms such as Sig P320 or Sig P365? Can you swap out different OEM grip modules, OEM slides, etc.? The firearm part is the Fire Control Unit (FCU) but otherwise the other parts are compatible, easily sourced from Sig, and are designed to be mixed and matched.

A looser Glock analogy would be swapping out grips and slides for the 43, 43X and 48.

Who makes the decision if this is a go or no go?

          Thanks in advance.

As per Sgt Johnson of the OCSD, Grips and Sights are what are allowed to be changed. Otherwise, the way it was made, is the way it stays.

Sounds good because all but one of my Handguns are off-roster and have grips / module have been swapped out.
What happens if you have installed flat triggers that are OEM ?
Example Sig P320 RX with X5 flat trigger?

Probably a no-go as it changes it from its original configuration.

I had to remove my extended mag and slide release for my Glock as it was unacceptable. Also my tungsten guide rod.

For those wondering the current timeline, mine is as follows:

                  Oct 12: Initial application submitted.
Nov 6: Interview (could have been Oct 26 but I had to move it a few times due to travel for work)
                  Nov 6: Live scan done
Dec 7: CCW class completed and training certificate submitted to investigator (this was pushed out as well due to travel)
                  Dec 12: Received final approval

Seems they are moving pretty quick - could have been less than a month I had my livescan and CCW done already.

Good luck to those currently in the process!

Anyone knows how to add firearms on your permit? What’s the process for ocsd? Thanks

Go to the website. Click on modification. Enter info and upload training certificate. Turn around time for approval have been less than a day typically.
