Lucky! Just double checked my forms I brought with me in case I misplaced his card.. no such luck. I guess I'll give it another two weeks and then email them again. I never have success calling in, I wonder why they even list a phone number.

As an update, I finally heard back from OCSD approving me for my license. Overall it was about 78 days, but there was about a month in between my submission and appointment because of work conflicts.

FYI, in my email it says appointments are required after 11/1 to pick up your license.

Hi friends, not sure if the answer is already here, but my friend who is also my boss is having a problem. His interview is scheduled for the middle of this week, but he can't get an employment verification. We work for a giant faceless company with many layers. He asked his direct boss who wasn't willing to give him a "letter of endorsement" because it was out of his pay grade. We have no contact with anyone above this person. There's an online verification available from a 3rd party, but that doesn't help the fact that he needs to upload this information before his interview. What should he do? I already told him to contact the CCW office, which he plans to do. We we're wondering if the Calguns brain trust has any insight. Thanks all.

^We're guessing the employment verification is a newer requirement. He has another friend who recently got his license who didn't need the verification either. The email he received said he needs: a letter of endorsement / verification of employment. He can easily produce the pay stubs, but this verification is a bit more complicated. We work for an amusement park.

Has anyone recently checked the pay at the counter box recently on a renewal, rather than use the credit card payment option as asked on the website, and had their status bar move from “Order started” and skip “Payment pending” and get “Assigned to a processor?”

Yes, I just recently picked mine up and I had to wait in total about 78 days. I also submitted in August.
