Did you previously have a pickup date cancelled?

I was wondering the same thing. When I spoke with a deputy today she gave me the same answer "have to reschedule all the appts canceled for 2 weeks then get on to people like me."

I turned in my training a month and a half ago. Im just waiting on the call to pick up at this point.

For the record...just to be clear, I was advised via a phone call that was initiated by the LASD that among other things, to go forward with submitting my training docs. I did not receive a "PTT" email. I have since had email contact from them explaining that while my application will be noted as training completed they can not accept training docs until I receive a "PTT" email. I will have to resubmit the docs should the email arrive.

I started my renewal on Feb 20 . i got the ok to firearms training . just waiting for pickup which i think wont happen for at least a few weeks.

Ah ok. Do they do phone interviews for renewal?

I put "no" on my inital application, not realizing it said "have you EVER...) When i did my interview and he asked that question, I disclosed weed use a few times in high school and he brushed it off. It came up one other time during the interview and I again mentioned the high school use and his reply was "Oh, that doesn't count." So it really appears past MJ use is not an issue.

Im going out on a limb here but basing this on something I read somewhere else. Im guessing Woodman500 is a part of the LASD/CRPA lawsuit for excessive wait times. Im also guessing they moved him to the front of the line to be able to show the plaintiff in the case was issued his CCW and make it appear hes no longer a plaintiff.

I just spoke to them 5 min ago. The ole "software update" reply was given to my "did you guys halt issuing ? " inquiry. Funny... it only takes me 5 to 30 min to update software. They must have a lot of software.
