Seems to be picking up, some getting an email around 3 weeks saying we've been trying to reach you. Others here were closer to 6 weeks

I just called the Los Angeles Sheriff CCW unit to speak with someone to confirm that I'm in their system. I submitted my application and paid at the Sheriff's office in Calabasas on July 23, 2022. The deputy told me I'm not in their system yet, but she said it takes a few months to input into the system. She also told me they're scheduling interviews for people that submitted their application in March 2022, but that it should move a lot faster since local PD need to process their own CCW applications.

I am at exactly 3 weeks since training docs received email. I had a call yesterday that they were missing stuff from my filed, and it was no off for final review

you know if personal checks ok?

Unfortunately I don’t think they’ll accept personal checks on pick up date. When they call you for pick up they tell you it’s either cashier’s check or money order. I know when I got my initial permit 2 years ago they accepted personal checks.
