9/22 - live scan initiated
9/24 - live scan complete
10/15 - completed training (preemptively)
11/22 - training email received
11/23 - submitted training/received email acknowledging receipt
12/27 - call to schedule pickup
12/29 - picking up

no word on my end since 10/16 but I hear the backlog is massive now

Called and spoke to a deputy who was very nice and actually looked at my file. Said she would give it to her lt. and to check back in a month.

1/25 Got a call from LASD saying I needed a more recent denial from LAPD (mine was from 2015)
4/14 LASD confirmed LAPD denial no longer required
4/26 Interview Scheduled for 5/6
4/29 Livescan submitted
5/6 Interview, was told to proceed to livescan & asked about LAPD application status
5/23 Livescan completed, notified LASD
6/3 CCW unit replied "We will contact you when we receive the report from DOJ. It can take 4-6 weeks from the 5/23/21 date to receive."
6/21 LAPD denial received and acknowledged by LASD CCW unit
10/16 Called and spoke to a deputy who was very nice and actually looked at my file. Said she would give it to her lt. and to check back in a month.

Well sort of.. I had my interview, was told to do livescan and to contact them if I don't hear back from them in 8 weeks.. Well, check out my timeline below...

NOTHING... Just nothing.. I don't get it. Anyone else going sharing my timeline and situation?

I've been told by some to just go into the station where i was interviewed and try to get some answers.. It's tempting but I keep telling myself to be patient and meanwhile another month passes by and more and more applicants that submitted after me are picking up...

I have a question. Will the LASD CCW unit will call your employee to confirm your job? Any one's company receive the call? If yes, should I leave my supervisor's phone number or the company's phone number?
