As long as you have permission from the property owner you are free to carry your weapon open or concealed anywhere on the property. I wouldn’t open carry anywhere visible to the public of course because some Karen would probably call the police and you’ll have to deal with that headache. Before I got my permit I always carried concealed when I went to any of my family and friends home. Unloaded and in a locked container in the drive there and then loaded and holstered as soon as I stepped in the door.

If you download your form from the LASD website, the OCA will already be filled in.

Hold your horses cowboy, you submitted to a FIELD OFFICE in end of August. The application realistically didn't arrive to downtown CCW unit until 3rd or 4th week of September.

We're just going through May applications right now. With the holidays coming up, May probably wont start until January.

Which leaves...May...June...July..August...September and then your applicaiton,


Doing your livescan this early would be a waste. I would schedule your livescan sometime in early June of 2022.

Cool, nice to see some progress. I am not expecting an interview call this year, too close to the holidays and the process is like a turtle in an uphill sand dune race. I am hoping for January.

When I sat down with the deputy, it was like the first time he even read my application.

He might have picked it up and saw my beautiful headshot I included with the application and gave me a call. But outside of that, he was asking questions that was obvious he had never looked at my application before

"So where do you live?"
"What do you do for work?"
