I'd add another month or two to that one Co worker had first week of April application and his interview was Sept 19th. Another coworker April 18th they lost his application and his interview is first week of Dec.

Not getting paid to advertise this, just looking out. I'd much rather pay $29 a month and having peace of mind instead of having to pull a loan on my house to get a lawyer god forbid I ever need to defend myself using my firearm..
I went with CCWSAFE. USCCA changed their terms and conditions. If you are convicted of any charges they can ask to be reimbursed for the money spent defending you.

CCWSAFE is absolutely the way to go vs. USCCA. Far superior coverage across nearly every single category.

This was true until this month, when USCCA uncapped their legal defense coverage (previously was limited to $250k, which in the unlikely event you get taken through a murder trial is not enough).

But CCW Safe is still a very good option, and USCCA still has one very questionable provision in that they can seek reimbursement from you if you are found guilty.

That provision worries me quite a bit. Imagine being offered a deal where you go to trial for something serious like murder or manslaughter, but the DA has a terrible case and is willing to drop all the serious stuff in exchange for you pleading guilty to some tiny thing like disturbing the peace, discharging a firearm within city limits or carrying a magazine you did not acquire legally. If you take the plea, POOF! your insurance disappears and you are broke. It is my understanding that DA's really want you to be found guilty or admit guilt to something, anything, in order to save face, keep their stats up, look tough on crime, and make it very hard to sue for any damages due to misconduct. Ask yourself, what YOU would do in that situation.
I wish today's liberals could understand: You cannot be generous by giving away other peoples' money and you cannot demonstrate your virtue by your willingness to give up other peoples' rights.

In any case - make sure you have insurance and make sure you do your research on the company! I myself will look into CCWSAFE too.. didn't know USCCA can seek reimbursement

Once processed, however, it looks like the wait times are the same across the board.

                              (They get interviews quicker)
