I was so confused too, like how does this dude's level-headedness (and issuance status) change so quickly between social media platforms lol.

Highly doubt that dude had the balls to slide into their DMs cause I think that's exactly what would happen.

Turn it to yellow on the map. That's confirmation, probably no LG is getting a permit again, even if some got through early on.

Hopefully this is just a temporary thing and SCOTUS forces the change in June.

My friend just got the call from LASD to pick up his CCW permit next week.

Here is his timeline as I can recall I was giving him advice all the way through:

GC: Light Green
Application submitted: Mid April
Interview: Mid July
Live Scan: Mid July
Training Completed: Early August
Issue: Beginning of November

Maybe Light Yellow, as it is a GC that is work related. However, he is in a industrial sector that is business to business environment. I would really consider that as Light Green as part of his GC included recreation. Like many had said, it has more to do with how you present it vs. what your GC is. But for LA County, it certainly proves that they will and are issuing.

EDIT: turns out it is not light green but yellow (employment related.) False alarm.

So, it is yellow for the fact that it is employment related, but to me, his job related GC does not put him more at risk than transporting expensive equipment and etc for recreational use.

9/25: Firearms Training completed @ Firing-Line Indoor Shooting
11/02: Received call ~14:00 to pick up CCW License @ Station the next day, on Wednesday.
11/03: Picked up CCW License from Sheriff Station.

** 28 Weeks (~7 months) from when CCW Application was mailed in April.
