Just got the call for my interview. It's set for the 22nd of March. I almost wasn't able to answer the phone. The call came from a 213 area code number (it was not restricted as has been previously reported).

Yeah... Tap Rack Assess doesn't quite have th same ring to it. That being said, they have mentioned that in at least one of the trainings, about looking up to make sure the threat is still a threat or that there isn't an innocent all of a sudden in the way after you tap and rack.

Btw, Daniel, are you still here and did you finally get issued?

If I were you, I would write a letter now and have it ready to go in the event the SCOTUS decision is issued in which you ask for reconsideration of your denial in light of the new decision. That could jump you ahead of everyone in line. You should plan to have it hand delivered on the day the decision is issued so you don't get buried under the rush. If they don't act on your letter, you will still have your new application in the "hopper" waiting for your interview.

Sorry if I missed it but I don't believe you ever shared your GC. Is it employment-based or recreational?

Has anyone been approved for Green GCs (recreational activities or daily activities risks) recently?

i'm going on 11 months now... i've called and emailed several times to add to my good cause. I have a credible threats from someone who has left me numerous messages of how they want to do bodily harm to me. I've sent the ccw unit a sample recording and they continue to ignore me.. I even filled out paperwork with the court to get a restraining order only to find out if I don't have a physical address for the person that I will be denied. So a restraining order seems to be the wrong path.. I have plenty of evidence to at least show the ccw unit but they ignore me.. I don't know what to do from here. This is appalling how the system works. Any suggestions? maybe I should go to headquarters to turn in the evidence?

Law enforcement should be here to help us, not deny us the right of survival. I wish I knew a lawyer who would help me out.

Honestly, I think you just need to be a little patient. If you’re life is truly in imminent risk, if it were me, I would do whatever I needed to protect myself in the interim.

While CA state law limits us to 2.5oz container or less of OC, it does NOT limit the number of containers we carry.
