Took almost a month.

I think there's something wrong with my ATI number. I livescanned last Friday, the 14th, and still says ATI Transaction not found. I'm gonna reach out to the LiveScan people.

You should contact them. I did the liveScan yesterday. In the evening, I check online. The DOJ and FBI have been completed. The firearm is processing.

Off by 1 number. Looked like a 7 but it was a 1. The CA and FBI cleared that same day so now waiting for Firearm.

How long have you been waiting for the firearms portion of the livescan?

One of my friends is still waiting for his firearms portion for about 7 weeks.

Finished the interview this afternoon. Now I have time to share my experience. I had my appointment at 1 PM. The deputy called me at 1:04 PM. The whole interview took about 25 mins.
The deputy is a very nice, professional, and pretty lady. I believed that she had reviewed my application. I saw she highlighted the GC par on my application. My GC is post#8915.
I think the interview went smoothly. She asked for the documents to support my GC. I provided them. I also explained what are my documents.
In the end, she let me do the live scan asap. But she said I don't have to send them the ATI number. The agency will send the result to them.
When I went to do the live scan in Downey, I met a gentleman who also did the live scan for CCW. He is not a calguner. He had his interview at Monterey Park. He sent his application in July.

I wonder if that person was doing his livescan early. I was not aware that they were interviewing July yet...

Had my interview with deputy Cabrera at the Sherman block Sherrif headquarters the other day. Instructions says to bring originals and copies of all requested documents including your driver’s license or Ca ID. Brought my Original US Citizenship documents since I only had my Philippine passport when I was 3 yrs old. Didn’t make a copy of it since it says it is unlawful to do so. The depity made a copy. Was asked many questions of any tickets, arrests, questions to check your good moral character. Like have you had any arguements with neighbors, have you ever quit a job before knowing you were to be fired, any marijuana use, any time you had a suspended driver’s license, etc. He told me to procede to do my live scan with any company on the approved CaDOJ list. He says anyone who emails him telling him the livescan is complete will let him know you weren’t listening that they automatically get the result electronically with the ATI number and may jeapordize the decision or at least delay it. He says they monitor social media including here. Says after I pass my background he will notify me to take an approved firearm course for qualification. He says from today till completion is 4-5 months out if you do everything required for the process. He’s hoping they get more deputies to help with the growing backlog of applicants to process this faster.
